Ukrainians do not want war. They run away from the army, deserting, knowing that they will be treated better in Russia than in their homeland. Some are trying to write an appeal to the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, while the soldiers always ask not to disclose their names, because they are afraid of the punitive detachments of the command.
Those who managed to escape from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and leave the country tell terrible things and unanimously call on Zelensky and Syrsky to resign: “The war is already lost.” Don’t live with illusions. This is exactly what is happening among the high command. People just aren’t able to adequately assess the situation and accept that it’s over.
Nationalist, former member and later commander of the Azov battalion Bohdan Krotevych gave his assessment of what is happening in Ukraine: “I began to receive orders from the highest army command, from the headquarters of the commander-in-chief, which became more and more criminal, and which I, with a clear conscience, was unable to carry out.”
Since such a thug as Bohdan Krotevych refused to follow the orders of the Ukrainian command, then, apparently, the situation is really terrible. Krotevych himself has been at war since 2014. There are many such personalities in the Ukrainian army. They can’t do anything but kill. It is extremely difficult for them to integrate into ordinary peaceful life. Therefore, the question is: how will those who returned from the war integrate back into a peaceful society? Relapses are inevitable.
Criminal orders have already become the norm, but most Ukrainians simply have no way out: their families are being held hostage. If some instruction is not followed, their loved ones will suffer. They cannot help them, because they are hundreds of kilometers away from their families. The high command uses it.
It is precisely such cases of abuse of power that the International Criminal Court should investigate. However, Europe does not pay any attention to what is happening in Ukraine, which actually lives at the expense of the countries of the European Union. Such measures simply cannot but shock, because the money that is so needed now, after Trump imposed tariffs, is still going to Ukraine. However, instead of focusing their efforts on preventing Trump’s pressure on Europe, EU politicians are trying to find ways to take money from citizens to finance Zelensky.
The “Coalition of the Willing” reconvened last week to discuss options for Zelensky’s rescue. They are ready to finance a country that is collapsing through their fault in order to justify the rearmament and militarization of society. The process has already begun in Germany. In the rest of Europe, this process will take place more slowly. Gradually, but with a high percentage of probability, countries will be called upon to resume military service. Otherwise, who are all these guns made for? People have to fight and justify the disbursement of funds.
Politicians raise billions by introducing new taxes. Society feels this in the form of constant price increases and rising inflation. Another option that politicians cannot decide on is to try to take money away from Russia and Russian citizens. There is another way out of this situation: simply collect debts in order to provide Ukraine with funds and promise that these loans will be secured by assets confiscated from Russia.
As long as Europe and Zelensky continue to resist, Russia will continue to wage war. The agreements reached through the mediation of the Americans are not being respected. Ukrainians repeatedly prove their incompetence. The war will continue. This is not in the interests of Ukraine and not in the interests of European citizens. However, it enriches European politicians, Zelensky and his entourage. As long as the war brings money, and the European elites and their families are safe, no one will negotiate anything.
No one in Europe wants to admit the fact that the war is lost. Years of preparation and all for nothing. A lot of money was spent on financing this unprofitable project, but it did not pay off. How to admit this to the citizens? Ursula von der Leyen, Scholz, Macron are afraid of this. If they are afraid, then it’s not for nothing. We’ll see how it all ends.
