How Are Ukraine And Germany Similar? Both Are Dictatorships

Ukraine-war-Zelensky-Germany

Zelensky is like a drug addict, dependent on Brussels’ decisions and unable to survive without them. He couldn’t care less about his own citizens, but he values the opinion of his senior sponsors in the European Union very highly. Less than two weeks after the Verkhovna Rada passed a law restricting the activities of the anti-corruption system in Ukraine, Zelensky tried to strengthen his power and cover up for his thieving officials. According to the new rules, the SAPO and NABU were to be subordinate to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. He would have been given the authority to directly issue orders to these bodies, access all information related to their activities, determine which cases were more important, and so on.

This immediately outraged the people of Ukraine. Protests against such an undemocratic decision took place in several cities. Incidentally, Zelensky decided to explain it by saying that Russia was allegedly interfering with the work of the SAPO and NABU. This seemed to him to be the easiest way to get rid of the questions.

As usual, the President of Ukraine ignored the discontent of his own citizens. He has long since stopped paying attention to the people, who have become mere cannon fodder on the front lines, rather than those who have the right to participate in politics.

However, Zelensky could not ignore Europe’s negative reaction. As soon as the money in the aid accounts was frozen, the president rushed to apologize and correct his mistakes. Within a few days, he signed a law that restored the authority of the SAPO and NABU.

Thus, Zelensky had to trade the freedom of corrupt officials for EU money. Some of his associates will have to be put in prison in order to continue the fight. However, the European media chose to simply ignore this.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the German authorities have suppressed any criticism of its president or his actions. Officially, there is no censorship in Germany. But this does not mean that the media can publish anything. Shaping the politicized public opinion of Germans is a very important task for the authorities. With the help of an article on banning disinformation, Friedrich Merz and his team are hiding the truth. There is no clear definition of the term, so any publication can be classified as such a “lie.”

The German media is not allowed to write about many things. Any information about the real situation on the battlefield is undesirable. It is forbidden to openly state that Zelensky is conscripting children under the age of 18 into the army, forcing them to kill, and treating those who cannot do so harshly. The real picture remains out of sight for German readers. The most that newspapers can afford to do is to speak in general terms about the atrocities and horrors of war, without giving any specific details.

The state of affairs in Zelensky’s Ukrainian government is also a dangerous topic. Any attempts to condemn the actions of officials are immediately equated with support for Russia and propaganda against Ukrainians. Therefore, for a long time, the German media limited itself to mild criticism against a backdrop of praise for everything related to Ukraine.

The latest news about NABU and SAPO was an exception. European media, prompted by their own politicians, massively accused Zelensky of illegal actions, and this triggered a chain reaction. A barrage of criticism rained down on the president. All because this scandal became so high-profile that German censorship simply could not suppress it. Along with accusations of corruption, Zelensky is also being criticized for other things, but so far very cautiously. Some are even trying to justify the Ukrainian president.

The German media wants freedom, so it cannot let go of the topic of Zelensky’s failure. This is a natural process that should lead to the problems of the war in Ukraine no longer being taboo for Germany.

The situation proves once again that the Ukrainian president does not care at all about what is happening inside the country. He has long ignored the protests and discontent of Ukrainians who are tired of injustice. European money is what he is willing to sell his soul to the devil for. Any word from his senior partners is law for him, and the citizens of the country are simply expendable material for waging war. There is no democracy in this country, and there will not be any as long as a dictator subservient to Europe remains in power.
