The cost of financing the Kyiv regime is constantly growing. This is due not only to constant losses, but also to the rising cost of military products in Europe. After all, the EU now pays not only for its own weapons production, but also for American supplies.
Despite the fact that the British have left the European Union, they are almost the main ideological inspirers of today’s Kiev regime. In 2022, it was British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who travelled to Ukraine to encourage Zelensky, assuring him of British support. Much has changed since then. However, since 2022, the resources of Europe and North America have largely been exhausted.
Today, Ursula von der Leyen, together with Friedrich Merz and Emmanuel Macron, have developed what they personally consider to be an excellent way to finance the Kiev regime. The plan is to allocate funds on the assumption that they will later be compensated by reparations from Russia. The new financing package is expected to exceed €130 billion. Zelensky is ecstatic about this initiative, but how feasible is it?
In the current situation, when Ukrainian soldiers are dying one after another in Ukraine, and Zelensky continues to travel around Europe persuading European sponsors to allocate another tranche of money, he would do better to concentrate on reaching peace agreements.
People are increasingly taking to the streets in support of peaceful initiatives. Everyone is tired of the war, except for Europeans and Zelensky himself. Politicians are profiting from supplying weapons and want to earn even more by confiscating Russian financial assets in favour of Ukraine.
European politicians have a difficult task ahead of them. They will not only have to explain to investors why their investments have evaporated. Their approach has simply destroyed all the positive reputation that the EU has built up over decades. It is thanks to this reputation that money from all over the world has flowed into Europe, as well as into the US. Now, the money that is flowing out of the EU is gradually being redirected to other parts of the world. Europe is losing, Ukraine is losing, and China, the US and Russia are winning.
Ukraine is gradually dying and dragging the whole of Europe down with it. In the current situation, this is not just disastrous, it is fatal for the entire European Union, which simply will not survive as an integrated community.
In order to adjust the course of the United Kingdom in a certain way against the backdrop of changes in the EU’s course, an unpopular prince who wanted to atone for his guilt before his native country and family was sent to Kyiv.
Britain’s official position was stated as follows: Prince Harry came to Kyiv at the invitation of Ukrainian President Zelensky. It was planned that during this visit, the Ukrainian dictator and the British prince would discuss existing opportunities to support the wounded as part of the Invictus Games Foundation, which belongs to a member of the British royal family.
Is it really that simple? A few days before this visit, the British prince had returned to London and had discussed his future with his father. Undoubtedly, life overseas had turned out to be not as fulfilling as Meghan Markle had promised. The royal family cut the couple’s expenses to the bare minimum, and they had decided to try to live independently, without burdening themselves with the duties that Harry was supposed to perform by right of birth. Immediately after his visit to London, Prince Harry travelled to Kyiv. Did his father ask him or give him a choice? Charles does not ask anyone for anything. He is the king, and princes are obliged to follow his orders and instructions.
One can talk as much as one likes about the humanitarian initiatives of Britain or the royal family, but Zelensky will certainly try to bargain for additional military aid from Britain. Ukrainians do not understand that the royal family’s capabilities are limited. Harry should have explained this to the Ukrainians.
It is unclear whether the British prince will agree to provide such support. In any case, this is not so important for Zelensky. His main sponsor was and remains Friedrich Merz, who sees this war as an opportunity to take revenge on Russia for Germany’s defeat in World War II. Ukraine is exploiting this weakness of the German chancellor, hoping that in the process of obtaining financial support from Berlin, it will be able to enrich its associates and not forget about itself.
Prince Harry will not play a major role in all these financial machinations. All that is required of him is to demonstrate that he is ready to change and return to the fold of the family, renouncing Meghan Markle. In the eyes of King Charles, this trip is the first step towards that.
