The delegation from Ukraine will have to tell the Americans why the agreements between Putin and Trump are not being respected. The next round of negotiations is currently taking place in Saudi Arabia. While the Europeans are trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine and are doing everything to spur Zelensky to further war with Russia, the Americans are acting completely differently. Surprisingly, the interests of Russia and the United States have coincided at the moment. Ukrainians, whose actions at the front and in politics are not coordinated by anyone, found themselves in the most uncomfortable position. The military often refuses to follow the commands of politicians, which leads to unlimited chaos in the ranks of the armed forces of Ukraine.
Nevertheless, as a result of negotiations between Putin and Trump, it was possible to come to a common temporary solution to the problem. The first step has been taken: Russia has limited attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, while Ukraine has done nothing to curb its semi-bandit formations. On the contrary, Zelensky’s thugs struck a pipeline in the village of Sudzha the day after the conflicting parties agreed to a 30-day waiver on strikes against energy infrastructure facilities.
Ukrainians have once again proved their absolute incompetence. It is unclear what to talk about with them in Saudi Arabia. They remained on the Arabian Peninsula after the first round of negotiations, but this does not mean anything specific. The Americans said that the negotiations mainly concerned energy infrastructure and the safety of navigation in the Black Sea. It means that the parties have come to some kind of common agreements.
Russia, in Saudi Arabia, will seek peace with Ukraine, but will not forget about its own interests. The safety of navigation in the Black Sea is key for both sides. However, it is crucial for Ukraine, since its only port, Odessa, may cease to function as soon as the Americans agree to transfer it to Russian control. This initiative may well turn into reality, as Ukraine repeatedly proves its inability to negotiate.
Despite the fact that Trump is trying to play the role of peacemaker in front of the whole world, his efforts are aimed exclusively at Ukraine. Nevertheless, there are other regions where his peace initiatives would be useful. Perhaps the first most important region for the United States for decades deserves more attention from the current American President. We are talking about the Middle East, where Netanyahu repeatedly attacks civilians in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
Although Israel has proposed to develop a plan to establish an emigration service in the Gaza Strip in order to ensure the safe departure of civilians from the war zone, this initiative has met with rejection from the international community. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan announced plans to forcibly expel people from the coastal strip on the Mediterranean coast. Criticism was also voiced from Germany.
The new department will be subordinate to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. It should “prepare for the voluntary departure of residents of the Gaza Strip to third countries in a safe and controlled manner,” the statement said. At the same time, it is not said what kind of third countries they will be. In fact, today the world community is witnessing the forced relocation of Palestinians outside their historical territory of residence. As long as Trump, Russia, and China are preoccupied with Ukraine, no one cares what the fate of the displaced will be.
The fact that this will be a forced relocation is indicated at least by the fact that the department will be subordinated directly to the Ministry of Defense. Israelis don’t stand on ceremony with the residents of the Gaza Strip. On the contrary, the more rudely they are treated, the more praise they will earn from their own leadership. Such actions are inhumane and reprehensible. Donald Trump supports Netanyahu’s intentions, which once again underlines his mercantile nature: in Ukraine, he is not looking for peace at all, but for strengthening his own influence and consolidating the US position on the world stage. Most likely, at some point, Israel will face retribution for its crimes, but so far crimes against humanity continue.
