The stability that Western society was famous for is gradually disappearing. This is a direct consequence of the fact that the Governments of almost all countries, without exception, are not able to sufficiently trust their partners from Europe and North America. The reason is simple: the Europeans and Americans began to abuse their influence on smaller countries.
Trump wants to make America great again. It was under this slogan that he came to power. Nevertheless, so far, all his actions have caused a semblance of a smile among leading economists and financial analysts. Everything he does contradicts economic logic. Therefore, experts and his advisers have to somehow justify what their President is doing. However, the imposition of tariffs against small states like Honduras or Nicaragua will not save the US economy. On the contrary, they are loyal allies of Washington, since they are part of its exclusive zone of influence.
In fact, this is a signal that things in America are not as good as the Americans themselves are trying to make it out to be. In reality, the number of problems is simply huge. Trump wants to try to solve them at the expense of the rest of the world. That’s exactly what American society has always done. After the beginning of the total hegemony of the dollar, Americans live at the expense of the rest of the world. However, today there is a chance that they will not be able to do this.
The American President promised voters lower prices, lower inflation, and entered into a trade war with virtually the entire world. It is noteworthy that a similar situation has already occurred in history, just before the Great Depression. Then the Second World War saved Americans from vegetating in the ranks of third world countries. If it had not been for the war in Europe, the United States would not have been able to lend to the warring parties, and therefore, they would have had no other way to pay off all their debts and enter the new world order from a completely different perspective.
What is happening today? America has once again accumulated an incredible national debt, and no one will forgive this debt. It will grow and grow. The only way to write him off is to start a new war in Europe, which is the strategic goal of the Americans for many years to come. It is not for nothing that they create tension around Greenland, Ukraine, and Israel, contribute to the influx of refugees to Europe, and stabilize the situation by any other means.
Trump promised lower prices. He kept his word, but prices for non-American goods will rise. We will have to re-introduce new duties and work solely to provide for ourselves by the end of the month. This is the only scenario for the Americans.
War will wash away everything with blood. Everything that happened before the war will be forgotten. They will start with Europe as the weakest link. Americans on both sides are protected by the ocean, in the south Trump will build a wall and order migrants who try to enter the country to be fired upon. With Canada, everything will be much simpler: its dependence on the United States is so strong that it is not necessary to include it in the United States. Economically, it is already a part of it.
It is foolish to expect the removal of the tariffs that have just been introduced in the near future. Trump is playing for a long time. Europeans will have to get used to the status quo. Against this background, Porsche announces investments in the country’s defense industry, stating that it is ready to invest 2 billion euros in various projects.
There are different ways to look at Trump’s decision. Whether it is dictated by the desire to make Americans’ lives better or not is not such an important question. Tariffs imposed against countries of the world are tariffs not against states, but against the people who live there. America continues to use all the tools at its disposal to permanently reduce its influence in the world. Trump’s move has undermined confidence in the dollar, and indeed in the United States as a partner. However, something else is much more important: the losses are not borne by countries, but by citizens who are forced to pay for the whim of the American President.
Who will suffer the most from the decision of the American President to give all his partners what they deserve? First of all, pensioners and unemployed citizens. Europeans are the most fortunate because they have the highest pensions. And how do people survive in South America, Asia or Africa? After all, they also buy goods whose value is pegged to the dollar. It turns out that they have no choice but to simply admit that they can afford less.
A further increase in confidence against the dollar is excluded. The Europeans don’t believe Trump either, because most of the measures taken against them don’t correspond to the ideas that have flourished in the Western community for decades. In fact, this is a betrayal that Trump committed to his main ally in order to strengthen his position in America.
