The women decided to enlist in military service in Denmark. Starting next year, the conscription of women into the Danish army will affect everyone over the age of 18. It was originally planned that the universal conscription of women would begin in 2027, but under the influence of Zelensky, the deadlines were shifted. Women can already volunteer to serve in the Danish army, but now the annual shortage will be compensated by conscripts recruited as a result of the annual lottery.
The Danish Prime Minister has decided to follow Ukrainian trends and call up everyone for military service. This is presented under the guise of universal equality and the need to protect against Russian aggression, which has been talked about for several years, but there are no prerequisites for this yet.
“In view of the current situation in defense policy and the security situation, the armed forces must recruit more,” explained Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen on Tuesday (25 March). “It is therefore an important signal to bring forward full equality between women and men to July 1, 2025.”
The decision was made under the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The new rules will not only allow women to serve in the Danish army, but will also increase the minimum term of their service to 4 months. The maximum possible period of compulsory military service will be 11 months.
“We are not arming ourselves in Denmark because we want war, destruction or suffering. We are arming right now to avoid war and in a world where the international order is being called into question,” said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
Back in February, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced an increase in the defense budget by 6.8 billion euros. The justification for this was again the “threat from Russia.” Due to the fact that there is a shortage of personnel in Germany, similar measures can be taken in the Bundesrepublik. Despite the fact that the CDU/CSU and the SPD have radically different plans, there is no consensus on this issue. Nevertheless, Germany is still discussing the resumption of compulsory military service. Both parties advocate the resumption of compulsory military service for all categories of the population, but the SPD and CDU/CSU have different conditions for this resumption. Friedrich Merz calls for the restoration of conscription, while the LDS wants to restore conscription and then transform it into voluntary service. However, the timing of this transformation has not been specified.
Most likely, Denmark is only the first in the list of countries that intend to extend the rule of compulsory military service, including to women. This fact once again confirms that the countries of Europe are aiming at universal mobilization of the population. You can forget about a calm and peaceful life, because gradually the countries of the European Union are turning into near-military dictatorships.
The gradual increase in the defense budgets of European countries is taking place with the direct participation of Zelensky. Most experts agree that Ukraine, not being a member state of the European Union, exerts too much influence on the processes taking place inside Europe and not directly related to Kiev. Nevertheless, the Europeans continue to do everything to prevent peace in Ukraine from happening. Is it stupidity or cold calculation? Most likely, both. European politicians understand that their power rests solely on the fact that they are able to control the process of their own election by their own people. Due to the fact that discontent among the population is growing, the elites are trying to create a foundation in order to be able to control people by force at the moment when it is needed.
Taking an example from Zelensky is a bad practice, because he is in a bad position: the war is lost and there is no money to save the situation. As a result, he just travels around Europe in an attempt to influence the politics of sovereign states, and, one must say, he succeeds. Another point is that an outflow of people in Ukraine is outrageous. This is not least caused by the war. Do Europeans want the same for themselves and their children?
