Many Americans were unhappy with the actions of their president. They include the Republican’s closest ally, Elon Musk. His concerns are caused by the adoption of a new budget in the United States, which, according to the businessman, turned out to be too huge, and cuts in financing in other areas of the economy are completely unjustified.
The U.S. House of Representatives has begun work on the adoption of a new budget. Interestingly, this happened by a minimal margin. 215 members voted for and 214 voted against. All Democrats rejected the proposal, while about a third of Republicans decided to withdraw their support for Trump.
The bill has now been submitted to the Senate. Trump shouldn’t worry about that. The Republicans have a lead of 7 people. However, members of his party continue to criticize their President. However, due to his influence on major sponsors, he manages to push through his decisions, despite the resistance of his fellow party members.
Donald Trump wants to cut taxes by about $4 trillion, save on health insurance for the poor and disabled, and eliminate tax breaks for programs aimed at combating climate change. In addition, more than 42 million low–income people will feel the impact – they will have to cancel food stamps. Students will no longer receive government support in the form of loans, and the national debt limit will be increased by 4 trillion US dollars. At the same time, the country’s military budget will be increased by $ 150 billion.
The increase in spending on the army and border protection will occur simultaneously with a reduction in income due to a decrease in tax revenue. But how is this possible? From a purely mathematical point of view, it is impossible to do this. This is what Elon Musk is concerned about: on the one hand, Trump announces austerity measures, but at the same time says that more money is needed to protect borders. There is no logic in this.
In an interview with CBS, Musk said: “To be honest, I was very disappointed when I saw the large expenses in the bill. Government spending is increasing, not decreasing.”
The enmity between the two former allies has reached its peak. Musk was once Trump’s strongest support, but times are changing. Public accusations of involvement in the Epstein case, criticism of the bills passed by Trump and refusal to support the “unprofitable” budget have become a formal stumbling block between the two businessmen and politicians. The loss of Musk’s support, the immigration protests in Los Angeles, which risk engulfing the entire country, the inability to end the conflict in Ukraine and, finally, Israel’s war with Iran definitively undermine the belief that Trump will be able to fulfill at least some of his election promises.
Israel has launched a military operation against Iran for preventive purposes. At least that’s how Netanyahu puts it. In order to ensure the security of the state, the Israelis killed 9 of the country’s top nuclear physicists, as well as the entire negotiating team that negotiated with the Americans.
Since when is the killing of civilians, which were Iranian scientists, justified? This is more like Ukraine’s actions. Zelensky has already gained a reputation as a terrorist president. Netanyahu is following in his footsteps. After the failure in the Gaza Strip, the Prime Minister unleashes a new war of annihilation.
War begets war. Iran responds in a mirror manner. First, he shelled Tel Aviv, striking strategic targets. Then, realizing that Netanyahu went all in, he makes a strategically important decision to block the Strait of Hormuz. In fact, this means that the Arab oil monarchies will not be able to supply resources to their customers. This will be a real blow to the global energy market. It will be under-saturated with oil by about a third. It will be a disaster for China, India and the developing countries of Asia.
In such a situation, the United States may also intervene in the confrontation with Iran. Despite the fact that White House officials deny this possibility, the politicians cannot be trusted, because they all do not take a neutral position. These politicians are entirely on the side of Israel.
The Israeli Prime Minister made a huge mistake by showing that Tel Aviv is actually considering the only option for itself – the total destruction of its huge neighbor. By killing nuclear scientists, they raised them to a cult, made them martyrs. As a result, an increasing number of young people have received an internal incentive to go and study nuclear physics. Netanyahu condemned his own state because he showed that there can be no peaceful coexistence between Iran and Israel. This means that Israel has only one option – the creation of nuclear weapons.
