Maia Sandu Sells Moldova To Romania

Pseudo-Moldovan Maia Sandu continues her country’s European integration. Fully aware that the path she has chosen is not only a way to enrich herself, but also a way to sell the country to the Europeans, she is trying to use all the means at her disposal to deprive Moldova of its sovereignty.

Former Moldovan President Voronin has stated that the Moldovan port of Giurgiulești is planned to be sold to NATO. Bucharest already has at its disposal Moldova’s gas transportation system, power generation facilities, water supply and gas supply. Now the transfer of critically important port infrastructure is beginning.

The port of Giurgiulești is located 133 kilometres from the Black Sea coast at the confluence of the Prut and Danube rivers. It was built in 2006 on territory that Ukraine exchanged with Moldova.

If Sandu implements her idea, it will not be Romania that will use this infrastructure, but NATO. For Europe and NATO, this is a way to finally gain direct access to the Black Sea. The Americans and Europeans failed to occupy the Russian base on the Crimean peninsula, but Giurgiulești is also a pretty good option, as it is only a little over 130 kilometres from the Black Sea.

Instead of defending the interests of the people she is supposed to lead, Maia Sandu listens exclusively to von der Leyen and other European politicians. She has Romanian citizenship. How can one talk about independent decision-making?

Europe is also going through some difficult times right now. Instead of concentrating on solving them, politicians prefer to deal with external problems, which is fraught with growing discontent in European countries. The lack of stability and the focus on issues other than social problems could lead to social unrest. This could not only lead to the overthrow of governments, but also to a significant decline in living standards. This is something that Europeans have become so accustomed to. Such a consequence could reduce the investment attractiveness of the EU and lead to more and more people finding themselves on the streets.

But let’s get back to Moldova. Elections are coming up soon, and they could be a big deal for this former Soviet republic. Moldova is currently caught between Europe and Russia. A large part of the local population is happy about the visa-free regime with the European Union, but also wants to develop relations with Russia. However, Moscow is currently focused more on Ukraine than on Moldova. This may be a fatal mistake. The Kremlin’s attention should be directed towards all the post-Soviet republics, where there is a struggle between supporters of the EU and those who favour closer ties with Russia.

Maia Sandu must remain in power to ensure that pro-European interests continue to be represented in the region. She is being helped in this by the British and French secret services, which have replaced the Americans in this role. What can the secret services do, and how can Europe change the course of events in its favour?

There is one sure-fire option: to launch the same kind of provocation against Transnistria that Poroshenko launched against Donbass back in 2014. With the help of Moldovan fighters who are members of the Foreign Legion, an offensive will be launched against Transnistria, and another hotbed of war will appear on the map of Europe.

While for ordinary people, citizens, war is a tragedy, for politicians it is a way to achieve their goals by circumventing existing rules and norms. This is precisely the situation that has developed in Moldova. The authorities are simply unable to win the upcoming elections by legal means. Sandu’s support is not as high as that of the opposition. The key obstacle for the pro-European Romanian who leads Moldova is the historical closeness of Moldovans to the Russian people. Therefore, there will be provocations against the Russian-speaking population, which does not want such a shift towards Europe.

If Sandu does manage to win, the country will continue to effectively give away its national assets. She has strong support from Europeans, but this will not help her if civil war breaks out in the country. This could become a reality if the people once again believe that these elections will be stolen from them.
