Israel’s Leftists Ignore The Ethnic Cleansing Or Genocide Against Gazans

Palestinians displaced from shelters in Beit Hanoun cross the main Salaheddine road into Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip following Israeli army evacuation orders on November 12, 2024, amid the ongoing war in the Palestinian territory between Israel and Hamas.

On May 7th, 972mag.com, the best news-reporting on ethnic cleansing or genocide against Gazans (‘Hamas’), headlined “What a ‘peace summit’ reveals about the state of the Israeli left: Well-meaning dialogue workshops, panels on distant political solutions, but no mention of genocide: these are privileged distractions we can no longer afford.”, and reported:

This weekend, a coalition of 50 Israeli peace and shared-society organizations will convene in Jerusalem for the “People’s Peace Summit” — a two-day gathering that aims, according to its website, to “[work] together with determination and courage to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a political agreement that will ensure both peoples’ right to self-determination and secure lives.” …

It must be acknowledged that the conference will take place amid an ongoing genocide, one that has already claimed the lives of tens of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza, and is likely to escalate even further in the near future. After carefully reviewing the conference’s densely-packed program of activities and panels, the word “Gaza” appears in only a single event, titled: “Peace After October 7 – Voices from the Gaza Envelope and from Gaza,” featuring “[Israel] residents of the Gaza border area and survivors of the massacre, along with video messages from peace activists in Gaza.”

While Israel’s rightists support the ethnic cleansing or genocide in Gaza, Israel’s leftists ignore it.

This is appropriate because Israel was founded in 1948 by ethnic cleansing against the majority-population, whose families had been there for thousands of years (and whom the mythological Jewish-Chrisitian god had ordered Jews to exterminate); and, so, to stay in Israel is to participate in this (which in 1948, Albert Einstein and other liberal Jews called “fascist”, but was/is really Jewish-nazi or “Zionist”) system. Though Israel’s conservatives control the country, Israel’s liberals accept the country, despite its being Jewish-nazi or “Zionist.”

Consequently, there is nothing in this entire matter that is really new: it has been the case ever since in 1948 U.S. President Harry Truman created the state of Israel. (He also started the Cold War, just 3 months after he became President: he was the first-ever American-nazi or neoconservative President — aiming for America to take over the entire world.)
