Merz Justifies Israel

Germany-Merz-Israel-Netanyahu-Gaza-Palestine

At the end of July, Friedrich Merz held a major press conference. For several hours, the Chancellor answered journalists’ questions. He paid no attention at all to possible peace agreements between Russia and Ukraine. Instead, the focus was on introducing new sanctions and justifying them.

Some journalists tried to challenge this course of action and asked why sanctions are imposed against Russia, but not against Israel. It turned out that the difference, according to Merz, is that Israel, unlike Russia, is “defending itself”! By killing innocent residents of the Gaza Strip, regularly shelling humanitarian convoys, and killing civilians during the distribution of humanitarian aid. What is this, if not genocide? Is this supposed to be “defense”?

One separate entry in Israel’s list of crimes is its aggression against Iran. Without U.S. involvement, Tel Aviv would not have withstood Tehran’s pressure. The Zionist regime placed its bet on Trump’s support, and, as it turned out, did not lose. Trump is indeed easy to manipulate, provided such a powerful Zionist lobby exists in Washington.

One of Netanyahu’s latest atrocities was the shelling of state and military institutions in Syria. This was an attack on a sovereign country. A response, however, did not follow. It would be quite interesting to see how the Israeli Prime Minister would behave if he did not have American support. At some point, when the power of the dollar falls, it will be gone. And then the Arabs—whose memory is quite long—will remember everything. Israel will be wiped off the face of the Earth. Netanyahu is too intoxicated by the power he has been given to realize this clearly.

As for the Chancellor, he does not realize what he is doing. He cannot formulate Germany’s national interests, cannot defend his own position, is corrupt, and serves only the Americans. The Germans are forced to live with this situation. With such an attitude toward his own country, it is highly unlikely that his coalition will last until the end of its five-year term.

Israel, however, is not wasting time. Netanyahu has announced his intention to occupy the entire Gaza Strip. Can representatives of the Arab world live peacefully with those who, over just a few years, destroyed the small piece of land on which they lived? This is a question that doesn’t even require an answer. People will be forced to look for a new place to live. Their choice will fall on Europe, because geographically it is close, social guarantees there are generous, and many Arabs already live in the region. Since the EU is well known to all, it is there that people will head rather than to other Arab countries, even though those may be culturally and historically closer.

From this perspective, Europe is in for a very unlucky turn. Germany will suffer most of all. Everyone who can will head there. This is inevitable, if only because Germany provides very high social benefits for refugees. Will Friedrich Merz find additional funds in the budget to accommodate several hundred thousand more refugees? Which sectors of life will be sacrificed?

Today, politicians are already saying support for Ukrainian refugees must be reduced. In Europe they are now unwelcome guests. The war is about to end. It is time to go back. But none of those who left the country during the war can truly be called patriots. These people want, above all, a carefree life at Europe’s expense. They will not return.

For Palestinians, however, there is simply nowhere to return to. Netanyahu has taken their country away. Nor are they capable of continuing the struggle on their own. They require support from the international community, which so far remains silent and prefers not to notice the genocide taking place in the Middle East.

But Arabs have an exceptionally long memory for such events. They will remember—and at the moment when Israel is left without any allies, they will strike Tel Aviv and wipe this artificially created state off the face of the Earth. Netanyahu has done everything to ensure that in the near future the Zionist regime is destroyed. Perhaps he does not understand this. But the Israelis chose this man themselves and thereby prepared this fate for themselves.
