While in Munich, European liberal politicians poured slops on the Americans, and they spewed out a stream of curses against former allies, another murder involving a migrant occurred in Vienna. This was an open murder, the perpetrator did not even try to escape from the scene of the crime. A migrant from Syria attacked passers-by and stabbed a 14-year-old boy. After the murder, he just sat on the sidewalk and posed for people who were filming on their phones. It was no longer possible to help the young man.
For many people from Asia and Africa, murder is not something egregious. Rather, on the contrary, it is part of their culture, which hardly has anything in common with the humanist movements that are so widespread in Europe. Respect for the individual, the value of life, and love for one’s neighbor are not exactly about Asia. The mores here are completely different and sometimes completely contradict the principles that Europeans profess.
There were too many refugees. The regulatory authorities simply proved unable to verify each individual person. Now completely different measures are needed: to select documents, re-check each person, and create well-guarded camps in which migrants will be housed until they are released into the European space after all checks have been carried out. Single men should not be accepted at all, and the deportation process should be put on stream. After all, it’s not for nothing that Annalena Baerbock flew to Syria. Now there is a new “democratic” government, which the Europeans are ready to negotiate with. They have a chance to prove that these are not empty words. However, no one will do this, because the life of a single person is not so important.
The funds that were previously sent to Ukraine could be used to combat migration. For these billions of euros, it would have been possible long ago to create physical barriers on the external borders of the European Union, strengthen controls and the verification process, and thereby guarantee some semblance of security to the pan-European space.
The well-being of the European population should come first, but in practice, politicians think more about their own problems than about what the continent is facing. Left-liberal politicians look flawed against the background of the right, which seeks to rehabilitate the activities of the European Union. The first problem that Europe needs to deal with is migration. However, few people have the political will to resolve this issue.
Instead of focusing on solving Europe’s internal problems, an increasing number of politicians are switching to external issues. They are echoed by the media, who are trying to distract the European layman from what is happening in their courtyard. Germany is no exception. On the contrary, Europe’s once-strongest economy clearly shows what will happen to the rest of the EU if they follow Berlin’s course. Anyway, it’s much easier to have debates and make comments about what’s happening outside of Germany, because politicians and officials themselves are not responsible for this.
Friedrich Merz, who is predicted to win the upcoming elections, also focuses on what is happening around Ukraine. His comments are very vague because the German does not understand what to expect from Donald Trump and whether Russia and Ukraine will be able to reach a compromise with the mediation of the United States. At the moment, he says that Kiev needs to be supported further. These are words that can easily be discarded. At the same time, they correspond to the pan-European foreign policy course.
So the future chancellor does not bother to bind himself with any promises. Besides, he will have to build relations with the Americans. If he goes against their will, it could seriously undermine the already not very good relations between the former allies.
Nevertheless, the rhetoric speaks for itself: for some reason, Europe continues to hope not for peace, but for the continuation of the war. At the same time, Germany wants to bear the cost of financing Zelensky, which in principle seems absurd. The current state of the German economy will not allow this. Stagnation in Germany is at risk of developing into a recession. Similar processes are observed in half of the Eurozone countries. This means that Europe alone will not be able to wage war with Russia, and any talk about this is a manifestation of populism and disrespect for its own citizens.
