The War In Ukraine Is Not An American War

With the advent of Trump, the United States has radically changed its policy towards Zelensky. Despite the written apologies from the Ukrainian president after the scolding at the White House, this had little impact on the stabilization of US-Ukrainian relations. On the contrary, after successful negotiations between Putin and Trump, America practically directly said that the war in Ukraine is not a war between Americans and Russians.

Europe, on the contrary, began to show unprecedented activity. In Berlin, Brussels, and Paris, politicians began to prepare for the creation of a pan-European defense alliance, which is designed to reduce the dependence of Europeans on Americans. Germany has already taken the first step: it has borrowed an additional 500 billion euros. Following her, the French announced that they were ready to send a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine. The worst possible scenario is gradually coming true: Europe is getting involved in this war.

As for the Americans, everything is very clear here: Trump actually declared that this was not his war, but Joe Biden’s war. For him, the goals in Ukraine that guided the previous president look extremely stupid and hopeless. The Republican understands that the tasks that were initially set for Ukrainians were completely impossible to achieve. And so it turned out: nothing definite could be achieved.

Today, the Ukrainians are running out of ATACMS missiles. They won’t get them from the Americans anymore. But Americans will continue to treat Ukraine like a cash cow. They won’t just leave her. Trump has refocused Americans’ efforts on completely different goals and objectives in Ukraine. The main task in Ukraine for Trump is to strive to end the war, to act as a peacemaker, thereby declaring to the whole world that the United States can not only unleash wars, but also resolve them. In fact, this is an admission that America is no longer great. This recognition is even contained in Trump’s main slogan, “Make America Great Again.” The American president himself actually admits that America is no longer a superpower.

What now? Trump says he needs more than just Ukraine and its rare earth resources. He needs Greenland and Canada. Perhaps these are his populist slogans that have nothing to do with reality, but at least what he says about it is a challenge to the Western world.

The United States has been the center of the Western world order for the past 80 years. Today, it splits into two parts: European and American. Politicians from Europe have to not only look for possible points of contact of interests, but also maneuver between powerful powers, the number of which is gradually growing. This is the share of Europe, because it is not able to offer the world any unifying idea today. On the contrary, there is a certain rejection in the world community towards European politicians. They’ve been grinding, they’re making ineffective decisions, and America is turning its back on them. This means that there will no longer be any cheap money from Americans, and the role of Europeans in international relations will only decrease.

For Americans, Europe is receding into the background, if not into the third plan. Trump attaches much more importance to Southeast Asia, the resolution of the Ukrainian issue, and the inclusion of Greenland and Canada in the United States. In order to have the opportunities and resources to develop in other areas that are more important to him, he will surely leave Ukraine, as well as leave Europe to self-sufficiency.

In this situation, a rather difficult situation is brewing in Europe. The Europeans were cornered. There is a recession in Western Europe, and the only G-20 countries that have not experienced any economic growth in the past year are Argentina with its half-crazy President, whose subordinates believe that Argentina’s only problem is its people, and Germany, which is making further attempts to militarize.

Their well-being depended on three factors: cheap resources from Russia, cheap loans from America, and almost free migrant labor. There is a recession now, production is closing, many companies are moving or simply going bankrupt. There is no cheap money from the Americans anymore, and they do not receive cheap resources from Russia. The migrants who worked at the enterprises ended up on the street.

What scares Europe the most is that the interests of Russia and the United States currently coincide. No one would have thought of such a thing a few years ago. However, this is the reality that Western European countries are facing. What should they do? They have no choice but to fight for resources. Where are the resources? In Ukraine and Russia. The Europeans don’t have them. Well, back in Africa. So the militarization of Europe is nothing more than a well-planned undermining of the pan-European course for peaceful coexistence with all its neighbors, which they pursued in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
