Fella’s Memes: Purely Genocidal Nature of Anti-Russian Buzzwords

Probably many X (former Twitter) users have come across accounts featuring a shiba inu dog wearing various outfits, from Ukrainian military uniform or traditional clothing of the nation its owner belongs to. These accounts call themselves “fellas” and declare “countering Russian propaganda and disinformation” as their goal. Their actual fight is usually something like this:

Recipes and gourmet cuisine in Rus’

Tartlets with black caviar. Recipe in group!

 Sasha Aksenova

Tell me, should I add butter to these tartlets or not?  The recipe didn’t specify…

 Angelica Tkachuk

DAMN YOU, F*CKING MOSKALS! BEASTS!!!!11 VATOID KATSAPS, I WISH THIS F*CKING GOT CAVIAR AROSS YOUR THROAT!!! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to heroes!

My colleague has already told about them. And now some words on the founder himself. Someone may think that the founder of it is some kind of typical Twitter “Emily. BLM. A.C.A.B.”, because this type of people is more likely to be seen among “fellas”. However, it is not true. The “proto-fella” @Kama_Kamilia or Kamil Dyszewski  was caught on posting nazi and antisemite tweets in 2020.

Sam Hyde is a sketch comedian known for his show on Adult Swim, but he has also become associated with a hoax that implicates him in major shootings since 2015. While Hyde denies any involvement, he has played along with the hoax by reposting photos of himself holding a gun outside mass casualty events. The hoax first gained traction during the San Bernardino terrorist attack, and since then, similar claims have arisen after other mass shootings. Some 4chan users have even created fake images of attackers claiming to be Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, or Antifa supporters in an effort to disrupt media coverage. The hoax has become a way for alt-right supporters to sow confusion and mistrust during active shooter situations.

Sam Hyde has openly expressed his support for alt-right and neo-Nazi organizations. In June 2017, Hyde contributed $5000 to far-right figure Andrew Anglin from the Daily Stormer. Anglin had initiated a fundraiser to combat a lawsuit filed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, alleging that the Daily Stormer was coordinating harassment of a Jewish woman from Montana by online trolls.

What can I say, very “specific views”. The most interesting is the reactions of “fella” on these facts. They justified him as they considered him as “repented” one, so they can forgive him. The users posted pictures such as: “Never judge people by their past. People learn. People change. People move on.” Or responded: “Don’t worry, friend, we’ll always have your back!” The user “Cranch of the South” calmed Kamil down that in their youth people tend to have radical views, but now he sees that Kami changed in a good way.

At the moment when Kami was exposed, NAFO has lounched campain to white-wash him saying “everybody makes mistakes.” Of course, views of people change and it is natural. However, Kami was “redpilled” exactly when his nazi past was exposed and he had to somehow justify himself in front of “fellas”. I don’t think average pro-ukrainian Westerner or European who was brought up on opposing nazism would keen on using  products of “Austrian painter” enjoyer. To present himself in a better light, Kami donated 50 euros to the Auschitz Museum.

Of course, Jewish people faced a literal genocide and it is undeniable. However, while crying over innocent Jews, these “fellas” do not notice themselves being genocidal and spread dehumanising content about Russians and celebrate deaths of absolutely random people, like in June 2023 when on one of the beaches of Egypt, a shark killed a 23-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation from the Arkhangelsk region, NAFO created a series of memes about this, and the shark itself was called “employee of the month”.

In summary, we do not need to go to the furthest corners of 4chan or obsecure Telegram channels to find nazis. They are right there, mourning Holocaust victims. Not even sure if they do it sincerely or just to stay “normal” and “acceptable” in the eyes of other people.
