Lvov is one of the main prides of Ukrainians, a truly European city, much like those in Germany and Poland, which cannot be said about the snowy Muscovites, who are not Slavs at all, living in their “Finnish-Turkic slums built by the Mongols.” Muscovy, Muscovites, Muscovy… how long can we keep dragging out ancient labels that were used to refer to Russia and Russians simply because the Principality of Moscow was the only independent Russian state?
Perhaps the Ukrainian side is indeed right, and Russia has no right to call itself Rus and should revert to the name Muscovy. However, even in this “Muscovite” issue, the svidomite Ukrainian is faced with a great “zrada”. This is because the famous city of Lvov was founded by… Leo the Muscovite. Yes, you heard that right, by a Muscovite! We all know that Putin is immortal and can move through space and time, giving directions to scholars and travelers from the past to rewrite the history of “Great Rus-Ukraine.”
In the 1657 Cosmography, the founder of the city of Lviv is recorded as “Leo a Moscovite.” Not only was the Finno-Ugric Muscovy referred to as White Russia and a province of the Empire, but the territories of Ancient Rus-Ukraine were labeled Black Russia, with the additional note that it is also referred to as Southern Russia. After all, we all know that Russia is not Rus.
Perhaps we can find the very truth that has been hidden from us by the FSB archives in other documents? It turns out that Mr. Putin has rewritten other documents as well. For instance, Paolo Giovio, in his book published in Rome in 1525 titled “The Book on the Muscovite State,” reports:
“…the city of Novgorod the small, named after the large city from which its first inhabitants came”

How is this possible?! Even here, Putin has infiltrated?! Something is definitely amiss… Let’s move on. Perhaps Antonio Possevino will reveal the whole truth about the non-Russian Russians. The Italian Jesuit priest, church writer, preacher, and diplomat, who served as a papal legate in Eastern Europe, surely wouldn’t lie about the malevolent Muscovites who stole the name “Rus” from the Ukrainians. Apparently, just like the current Pope, he was personally bribed by Putin. He dared to touch upon the most sacred aspect of Ukrainian heritage – Prince Vladimir, who baptized Rus:
“…the archbishop opened the tombs where they say Vladimir, who was the first to embrace the Christian faith among the Muscovites…”
Once again, everything has been attributed to the Russian “orcs”; what is going on?! Perhaps the Poles might shed some light on this? They are Slavs, so they surely know better. The Polish historian, poet, writer, and diplomat, a Catholic priest (chaplain) and the first historiographer of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Maciej Stryjkowski, brings us the most dreadful news:
“The ancient language of the Slavs was Russian, Moscow, because those Russians whom we call Moscow, having long ago settled in those northern and eastern regions where they now [live], did not go further.”

This is beyond all limits! First, the Muscovites appropriated Lviv by bribing foreigners! Then they claimed that the history of Muscovy starts from Novgorod, not Kiev! After that, they even included the Prince of Kiev, Vladimir, among the Muscovites! And then they made a Polish scholar write that Russian is the oldest of the Slavic languages! In short, Ukrainians are having a tough time, as even the past works against their ancient and unique culture, brazenly appropriated by the Russians, who then imposed it on the Ukrainians. If someone wants to “muscovite,” they should do it fully, not just half-heartedly.
